**Update 20th December 2020**

Unfortunately due to the governments recent announcement we are once again forced to shut and look to re-open on the 6th January. (Dependant on Government announcement.)

All customer booked in with us during this period will be rescheduled to as soon as we re-open. 

If you are a customer who has a wedding scheduled through December, please rest assured that we will do whatever it takes to supply the suits for your wedding. This includes any last minute fittings or adjustments where necessary.

Our Business:

So.. It's been one hell of year so far but we are still going strong. From the 20th June we reopened up our Dartford store on an appointment only basis. It hasn't been an easy ride, however we are very lucky to have come out relatively unscathed. Partly due to our business strategy and set up but also due to our lovely customers for their support and loyalty to what we do best. 

In these difficult times its understandable that couples are nervous booking up wedding suppliers and to put your mind at rest we have been dressing grooms for over 100 years and will continue to do so for many more. 

Unlike many others we carry all of our own stock, this means we have thousands of items ready to go. Our made to order suits are all arriving ahead of schedule, and our new ranges for 2021 are all in and ready to try on. 

This puts us in a really strong position going forward.


We are  taking bookings for our Dartford store on an appointment only basis. This is for both new bookings and fittings. 

In order to protect Bell'amore staff and customers our Bexleyheath store will unfortunately remain closed until further notice. The Bexleyheath telephone is currently diverted to our Dartford store however if for some reason you cannot still get through please contact us on 01322 291005.​

We have put in place extensive measures to protect both our staff and customers and will ask everyone who attends to follow these. Appointments will be limited each day and there will be no more than 8 customers in the shop at any one time. 

Hand Sanitiser is available for all customers on entering the shop and we would encourage all visitors to make use of this.

Where possible we will be asking that all our groups coming into us are kept to the minimum. Just the Bride, Groom and the men and boys that need sizing for suits. ​

And lastly, we kindly ask that all customers who attend the shop wear their own face masks.


Should you need to postpone your wedding, please let us know as soon as possible. We will rebook all hired items and bookings to your new date Free of Charge.

New Bookings 2021/2022:

With the remainder of this year, and 2021 looking to be extremely busy, we would recommend that you book early in order to get a suitable appointment. We are advising all weddings in 2021 to book this year where possible to avoid disappointment due to so many wedding having now moved. 

Saturdays book up fast, so any customers that can attend weekday appointments are encouraged.

Current Made to Orders/Made to Measures:

Our custom made services for suits and accessories has remained pretty steady. All deliveries are on schedule and our normal lead times for made to order suits our 12-14 weeks with the option of an express service (6-8 weeks). Unfortunately however, in these current circumstances our custom made suit options are not subject to the usual consumer rights that you would find with a regular retail product, as they are custom made for each customer with the final balance of these items is due on completion.  If you are placing an order for a wedding suit (to be made), it is worth remembering that if your wedding is delayed due to Covid or any other reason, the final payment will still be due when the suit is complete.  Unlike our hire department, which is subject to your usual consumer rights, we cannot simply reschedule your custom made suit order.  We will be more than happy to discuss a suitable arrangement for each individual customer or if you have any queries whatsoever.
